Transits,
A pleasurable detachment from those long overdue flights,
A lively connection from one place to another,
A brief encounter with stories of strangers,
Whom I wish I could spend more time with,
But rather, we depart ways after quick smiles
and stolen glances,

Dear People in the Town Council,
 
I find it disturbing,
And humiliating,
To discover my fine daughter,
And her group of friends,
Sitting in the drains,
With wide innocent smiles
That passerby noticed from miles away,
Getting their dainty small feet,
Soaked in the mud
and their baby fingers,
Picking rough pebbles coated with dirt and old weeds,
